Self-Sculpture: Seven Paradigm Shifts within The Happiness Continuum

Demands for Answers
– answers… when the questions need to gently melt away and disappear…
– the answer when there is not an answer…
… or when real answers are elusive…
– the answer when the “why questions” have been ringing in your ears, far too long…
– when you are in the crossfire… you don’t need to be invincible…
– let that unsettled inkling fade, dissolve, disappear, heal… rationalizing is irrational…
– discard “judgmental” … place it on the side of the path…
– lost trust is a hefty, painful burden… set it aside… purify…
– do not ask them to confess their sins to you… usurp not…
– love them anyway… nurture the divine in you… progress… become…
– move away from the darkness… stop projecting your myopic view…
– the wrath of justice is satisfied… celestial referential integrity is staggering…
– kindly move forward with faith… without complete answers…
– place your burden at My Feet… walk away… don’t look back…
– that sharp pain in your side has been transferred… let it go…
– line upon line and grace to grace… can seem unnatural…
– natural law is good… eternal law is heavenly, celestial, divine…
– be patient… the dews from heaven are distilling upon your soul…
– you are becoming the answer…
Pure Blue Water
Today is a sacred blue pool on the edge of the rushing waters
Today is a sanctuary where we can partake of pure water and be refreshed
Today is a gentle reprieve from the flood coming down the river tomorrow
Today is a peaceful opening to process yesterday, one sip of water at a time
Today is a delightful time to work and create and notice and breathe and become
Today is a gift from God, unencumbered by yesterday or tomorrow
Today is also a good time to revisit yesterday and wash away impurities
Today is also the time to store clean water, for tomorrow
Today is persuasive, a time to pause and be grateful and enjoy the sun
We are blessed with the option to slow down and live one day at a time . . .
Faith Hope Charity
To become what we can ultimately become, we must seize Faith, Hope, and Charity….
… climb the Faith-Hope-Charity continuum…
First, we decide to work on Faith… it takes effort, dedication, learning, and study…
With Faith, we separate ourselves from the crowd… we begin a personal journey…
Faith starts with wanting these marvelous truths to be true…
We continue to study, ponder, and pray… until we know enough to Hope it’s true…
Our sandy foundation is starting to harden… our basis for Faith has begun…
Second, we decide to work on Hope… it takes humility, willingness, time, and Faith…
With Hope, we have strengthened our Faith to the point that Hope is joyful, fulfilling…
We have experimented on the word and our Faith is rewarded… our Faith is real…
Our Hope has a foundation in strengthened Faith, firm evidence of things not seen…
We Hope it is true… our heart tells us it is true… we feel the power of our Faith…
Third, we dare to develop that character trait called Charity…
We have Faith and Hope… they have been working on our heart, mind, and soul…
Our very nature is changing… we are becoming new creatures…
We are progressing line upon line… Faith and Hope are taking us from grace to grace…
With Faith and Hope… then Charity… we are becoming more like Him…
The words of Mormon [1], shared by his son Moroni, are most helpful:
Charity suffereth long
Charity is kind
Charity envieth not
Charity is not puffed up
Charity seeketh not her own
Charity is not easily provoked
Charity thinketh no evil
Charity rejoiceth not in iniquity
Charity rejoiceth in the truth
Charity beareth all things
Charity believeth all things
Charity hopeth all things
Charity endureth all things
Charity never faileth
Charity endureth forever
Charity is the greatest of all
Charity is the pure love of Christ
The natural man thinks of “charity” in terms of food banks and soup kitchens…
The natural man is an enemy to God… [2]
The word “Charity” in the Bible comes from the Greek word “agape” meaning:
love without gaps or unconditional love…
Charity is a personal attribute of those who are becoming pure and holy… a gift of the spirit… a character trait of the divine…
When Charity and celestial nobility are on the rise within the hearts and souls of men/women, when character and integrity shine…
then the natural man is slipping, in decline…
“… pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ;
that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope;
that we may be purified even as he is pure…” [3]
Faith then Hope then Charity… endure to the end… then a Fullness…
“… as many as believe on his name shall receive of his fullness. And of his fullness have all we received even immortality and eternal life, through his grace.”[4]
